Victorian Lounge Spruce-Up
Mouldings, a dado rail, blue walls and gold chandeliers give a family lounge depth without cluttering the kids’ play space.
The story
A family of five had a large lounge with two fireplaces, a high ceiling and Victorian skirting. With three children playing in there, furniture had to stay sparse.
We added rectangle moulding and a dado rail painted white against blue walls for depth, wall lights above the sofa and around the gold fireplace mirrors, a framed wall and gold chandeliers on the existing ceiling roses.
