A Splurge of Colour
Design plans for a couple’s first UK home: smart storage, a dusty teal living room and a terracotta bedroom with a feel of Mexico.
The story
A Canadian couple buying their first UK home asked us to design the living room and two bedrooms, one doubling as study, guest room and home gym. They wanted minimal, classy and cosy, with plenty of storage.
We planned wardrobes, drawers and under-bed storage, desk space for both of them, a dark dusty teal living room with a Scandinavian dining corner and jute rug, and a terracotta bedroom with a black metal bed and a reading nook.
